How-to: Connect Datameer to LDAP to Simplify User Access

By on July 25, 2014

With the increasing number of usernames and passwords that we have to remember, I thought I’d share a very handy Datameer feature that allows you to circumvent having to add one more to your roster. This Datameer feature allows you to use your computer username and password for access by connecting to a LDAP (lightweight directory access protocol) service without the need to spend hours behind a manual. How simple!

Lots of large companies are running LDAP and it requires a tremendous maintenance effort if software (especially Web applications) all have their own and closed authentication mechanism. Now, you don’t need to worry about that.

Watch my tutorial below to find out more. And, of course, download your free trial of Datameer to try it out yourself. Have a great weekend!
