SAN MATEO, Calif., August 7, 2012 – Datameer, Inc. (www.datameer.com) the provider of the single tool for big data integration, analytics and visualization on Hadoop, today announced that industry veteran Tim Miller has joined the Datameer team as global vice president of sales.
Miller brings over 20 years of industry sales and operations experience to lead the Datameer field sales and business development teams. Prior to joining Datameer, Miller was the vice president of worldwide sales at Crossbeam Solutions, where he led a team of over 100 personnel and consistently achieved quarter-over-quarter revenue growth. Prior to Crossbeam, Miller spent six years at Ascential Software and IBM, where his revenue growth successes helped lead to Ascential’s 2005 acquisition by IBM. Additionally, Miller has led sales teams in cloud computing and product lifecycle management sectors.
